This qualification is ideal for those working in ICT or marketing, and supports learners entering this sector for the first time or those looking to upskill and develops their knowledge of Social Media for Business purposes this qualification allows candidates to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the Social Media industry. Effective use of Social Media is now an established marketing tool, and can help businesses thrive.
An assessor will visit the candidate at their workplace once a month for approximately two hours. In addition to this, they will be set approximately four hours’ worth of work to complete before their next meeting. The mandatory units are covered using assignments, for which there will be seven mandatory classroom based sessions. For the optional units you will have the option of sitting an assignment or using a portfolio of evidence. Most units require that the learner sit an assignment under controlled conditions, though this does vary depending on the units chosen. The four mandatory units are all assignment based with accompanying workshops which are mandatory and will require the learner to attend our offices in OPH. There is a minimum requirement to attend four workshops, one for each of the mandatory units.
